I found a solo RPG that's like dark mecha anime themed. You're supposed to record log entries and I think I might end up doing one a day and posting them to Loops. Like audio only, a bit of an effect to add a kind of radio tinniness or mild distortion or whatever. Visuals probably just the audio wave. Just my character slowly losing his mind as a child soldier in a mecha war. Would that interest anyone?

We're all guilty of our main character syndrome moments but really leaning into it by talking to your friend(s) about me in front of me like I'm not there or just a background character in your life will piss me off fast. I think this happens even more because I'm a foreigner and French people will often act like I 1) can't speak and understand French perfectly fine and 2) haven't been living here for over ten years.

This is far from the first time.

It is amazing and wonderful that small, kind moments, and working with others on a common goal can bring you right out of your funk. Even if that common goal is No Big Thing. It is the greatest antidote to doomerism, which is the most powerful tool of our oppressors. Do not submit to pessimism, do not submit to those who wish to see you apathetic and defeated. Maintain optimism and hope if only for one reason: You have no choice.

I've said before here and there, writing on my keyboard is an accessibility problem for me and a helpful mastadoner suggested using a stylus, which i thought was a great idea! So I made one! So far it works well for typing with swype. I'm feeling very proud of myself.

My first radicalizing event was the loss of the Democratic candidature by Bernie Sanders to Hillary Clinton. (And of course Trump's election.)
My second radicalizing event was covid.
And now my third radicalizing event is this heatwave.
I've rarely felt climate anxiety this vividly. Something must be done.
